The shaft is Metal and has a standard duty end cap. Shaft is octagonal and has the desired rounded throat that fits into the head. Overall, the stick has a length of 41". The ball stop is original. Very cool stick. Stick shows typical signs of previous use and is in collectible condition. Very cool stick and only one for sale on the internet at the time of this posting. I've bought and sold over 5,000 sticks and have never seen this one before with the "X" engraving.
