I have up for sale a wonderful matching pair of antique , most likely from the teens or 1920s , wood frame fold chairs made by the NATIONAL SCHOOL EQUIPMENT CO Port Washington , WI . From what I can find , the company was bought out by the WISCONSIN CHAIR CO of Port Washington in approx 1923. This is a great looking pair of chairs and they're strong and sturdy – also a bit wider than most folding chairs that you will find from this time period. I weigh 200 lbs and they hold me with no problems. The chairs are in very good condition. I wiped them down with an oily rag and they really look nice. They have a few minor imperfections as noted in the condition report and shown in the pics. Any imperfections are fairly minor considering the age and such. The anterior part / front facing section of the back support on one chair has a couple imperfections to the veneer . As oted this is shown in the pics and noted. The chairs are double fold , the seat folds as does the lower leg section. The seat measures approx 15-1/2" wide , 15-1/2" deep , and stands approx 15-3/4" from the ground to top seat front. The back stands approx 33" tall when in the sitting position. The chair is approx 19-1/4" wide and when in the seating position its approx 21-3/4" deep. In storage it stands approx 39-5/8" tall and approx 5-1/8" deep. They weigh approx 25 lbs , so approx 12 lbs 8 oz each. I have provided lots of information and nice pics .
