Here is a very nice vintage late 1980's to early 1990's made in Japan Wilson A2000-XLC baseball glove for a Right-Hand thrower and thus fits on the left hand. The XLC model glove was first made in Japan in 1985 and made into the early 1990's. (Note that the glove was made prior to that in the USA starting in 1973). The mitt was made in Japan and is adult sized measuring 12.5" long through the pocket. Can be used for baseball or softball. This top line glove sold for around $150.00 new during this time period. Stamped on the front of the glove is the Wilson A2000 circle logo in the palm, Grip-Tite Pocket, Snap Action, Dual Hinge (web) and Wilson. On the back is stamped "The A2000" – XLC (closed web), Pat. Des. 207086, Nylon Stitched, "THE A2000", Pro Back and Japan. There is a number 33 factory stamped on the inside underside of the glove. Also a neat little Wilson "W" logo stamped on the one end of the thumb strap. Glove has closed back. There is no owner's ink on the glove. The stamping on the front and back is all readable. There is a nice original black and yellow patch sewn on the back of the thumb. Glove is broken in. The interior and exterior leather is still very soft on this mitt. Interior leather is very soft and smooth with no real chafing on it. Other than the fingers (which I relaced) the lacing appears original and intact with light wear here and there. The leather piping is soft with light wear. The thumb and pinky loops are functional and useable. The glove feels great on the hand. I have other gloves and mitts on eBay now as auctions and/or Buy it Now, and I like to combine shipping whenever possible. If you win more than one glove on an auction, I'll send you an auction for the combined shipping amount. If you win Buy it Now items which require immediate payment you'll have to pay the total shown and then when I now the total combined shipping cost, I'll refund you the difference back on the price through eBay.
