Converts any* mic or instrument with a center contact 5/8" screw fitting to a 1/4" female "guitar" jack. *The exception is the Chinese made JT-30 RH model which had odd sized threads. Fits all other JT-30 screw-on mic's, and any other mic with a standard 5/8" Amphenol MC-1 or Switchcraft 332 type center contact screw connector. Should be in every amplified harmonica players kit, an inexpensive and indispensable backup if your screw-on cable is ever lost or damaged. This adapter allows you to use your mic with any standard 1/4" guitar cable. Some may not know that you can easily change gender (for the adapter, doesn't work on humans) by simply unscrewing the ring assembly.
