Gorgeous custom made size 8 corn teeth (double point) metal zipper. Core material is solid brass. The teeth is a golden brass or natural brass color, has a little bit of “brush brass” under certain lightings. Very beautiful. The tape color is based off of the YKK color book, number 331, which is a reddish brown color. In reality the color looks to be actually between a 331 and 097, but definitely leaning toward 331. The zipper is best to be used with leatherworking, especially if you want a sturdy zipper that will practically last forever. The larger size gives it a more “exposed zipper” look, very beautiful especially for large bags or coats/jackets. These double point zippers are much more sturdy than the general Y teeth zippers and will slide very smoothly. Double point zippers are also “two-way” zippers. So you can install the slider in any direction!! Tape color is exceptionally rare, but it fits literally ALL leathers with a copper or reddish undertone. So for example any English tan (e.g. Horween) cognac, chestnut, copper brown…even burgundy or Horween Dublin brown nut will fit perfectly. I’d say it’s a magical tape color!!! You definitely won’t regret getting it!! Your end product will look so nice when you have matching tape color for the zipper!! It will immediately look more expensive!! Zipper sliders are not included if you need some I can sell them to you for very cheap. However any generic size 8 zipper sliders will work well with these, so for example YKK, Riri etc. The sizes on these are pretty internationally standard.
