Dremel® Flex Shaft Nose Piece Replacement with the Front Flex Shaft Washer Ever take off the nose piece of the Flex Shaft and it disappears? Gets Lost? When one of my Flex Shaft nose pieces disappeared over my balcony, I decided to make a duplicate. (See Notes.) This is a reproduction of the nose piece for the Dremel® Flex Shaft. A flex shaft front nose washer is included. I have found it impossible to find a replacement front nose piece washer. The closest I could find is a washer imported from China. Although it is not the perfect size (it is not quite as thin) it fits properly. However, before putting it on be sure to check carefully that yours is still not attached. The original is very, very thin and black in color so it blends into the shaft making it very hard to see. This replacement washer is not quite as thin as the original but works the same. The small washer is hard to seat properly. You may need to use a small screwdriver or something similar to push it in place to make sure it seats properly. (See Picture.) CAUTION: This washer is an integral part to keep the two sections of the flex shaft properly closed. If you have never opened your flex shaft, for example to replace a broken flex shaft, yours should be in place. DO NOT put this washer on the flex shaft if the original washer is in place! What You Get: ► The nose piece and washer as pictured. Each nose piece is tested so it properly seats on a flex shaft before shipping. NOTES: ♦ This nose piece only attaches to the Dremel® flex shaft. It has not been tested for use on other rotary accessory tools. ♦ If your nose piece does not fit properly, please write to me via the contact section on eBay and I will try to correct any deficiency.
