8 CHILDREN Birthday Antique Postcards, 1900s. EMB. Collector Items. NICE This is a nice selection of 8 BIRTHDAY postcards that show CHILDREN. These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. Although the most of these postcards are in color, there is one that is a black and white photo of children. This shows two children holding a basket that is full of flowers. This is a German postcard. There is a nice looking picture of a boy, girl and dog with purple outfits and flowers. Other postcards show a young girl pushing a cart filled with white flowers; a pretty girl watering a flowering tree; a young boy holding a rose as he stands in a window sill; a boy rowing a boat with flowers on it and above him; two children playing with a basket of flowers and four leaf clovers falling on one of them; and, there are two children holding gift baskets with an older lady watching them. The postcards are attractive and capture the classical style of postcards used back in the early 1900s. They have good detail. They are from different publishers. Overall, a nice selection of antique Children Birthday postcards. These are collector items because of their age and desirability to both Birthday and Children collectors. The postcards are both UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (5) with cancel dates of 1907-1913. Almost all of them are EMBOSSED, and most would have been "Printed in Germany". Two of these have UNDIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally.
